Gudibanda a small town in Chickkaballapur district has been selected to study whether land holdings can remove rural poverty. Five villages were earmarked and 200 samples collected from these where simple random sampling was carried out find if the relation between poverty farmers with fragmented lands.Most of grew vegetables such as brinjals, cowpeas, tomatoes, potatoes beans. Also commercial flowers jasmine, roses, tuberoses yellow crysanthamums also cultivated. They earned very income Rs 500 per month for around 2000Rs 2300Rs flower sales that too during festival months January April 2023.Their earnings depended mainly on market prices that’s selling rate main vegetable Gudibandasanthe or village fair. sold outside their groups tried transporting market. Can cultivating all farms bring sustain cultivators? Water scarcity coupled lack employment measures like MNREGA root cause problems. It reasons urban migration.The objective see cultivation could fetch moderate farmers. The suggestion adopt cooperative farming minus problem middlemen, how solve markets finally tackle unemployment water scarcity.
